Natural yarns are the result of  the processing of fibers that are commonly found in nature. The origin of these fibers could be either vegetable (such as cotton, linen, allo, hemp) or animal (such as wool, silk, cashmere). Natural yarns can be composed of a single raw material  or of blends of different fibers,  delivering an excellent quality to the final outcome.

These yarns are all environmentally friendly,  completely recyclable and thus sustainable.

Wool is a Natural, biodegradable and completely renewable fibre: every year, after shearing, sheep produce a new fleece which can be shorn-off again. The spinning process of this fleece transforms the fibres into yarn. Wool is very resilient, resistant, moisture-wicking and has excellent durability. Wool Carpets have a remarkably long Lifespan: they can last anywhere from 20 to 25 years or even longer.

Alpaca fleece grows on alpacas. The spinning of this fleece offers a natural, prestigious yarn that is kept in high regard among the Luxury Yarns. Compared to sheep wool, Alpaca is significantly softer, much more durable and is lanolin-free, which makes it a hypo-allergenic product. It is naturally water-repellent and fireproof.

Himalayan Nettle, also called Allo, is a natural fiber that grows spontaneously in The Himalayan region of Nepal. It’s harvested, spun and woven by hand by local women who perfectly know through heritage how to manage all these processes. Due to its uneven texture, the result of the manufacturing of this yarn offers beautiful carpets all different from one another.

Sisal fiber is obtained from the Sisal Plant and is the result of the decortication process of its leaves. Jute is a  rough shiny bast fibre with golden and amber tones that can be spun into very strong threads. Jute is 100% bio-degradable, recyclable and environment-friendly. Linen is one of the strongest natural fibres and is obtained from the stalks of the flax plant. This plant does not require artificial irrigation, just rainwater for its growth, and the processing of the fibre has one of the lowest environmental impact in the industry.

Linen is the most ancient textile fibre that man has been using, and this yarn is known for its strength, its durability, its lustrous appearance and its non-pilling quality.
